    On June 28, 1914 and Sarajevo, Bosnia's people crowed the cities streets. Archduke Franz Ferdinand, next in line to the throne of the Strauss-Hungarian Empire, and was in town for a visit. He and his wife were driver along in a open car when a gunman attacked both were killed. The assassination did more than just killing the royal couple , it upset thin balance among Europe's powers and within weeks, these powers were at war.
