James Douglas Morrison born on Melbourne, Florida the December 8 of 1943. Jim live with his parents Clara Clarke Morrison, and George Stephen Morrison, his dad was the commander of the USA naval force.

When he was growing up, he lived in different parts of the USA: Clearwater-Florida/Albuquerque-New Mexico/San Diego-California/Alameda-California/Alexandria-Virginia.

When he went to George Washingtong High School, he changed his mind, and was rebeling against his dad, discovering alcohol and girls.

He graduated in the George Washingtong High School in 1961, he ask his parents for the comlpletes works of Nitzshe for a present of his graduation.

He end the High school, and he went to his state of born in Florida, to go to the Florida State University in Tallahassee.

He left the University of Tallahassee, to go to the Universiry of California in Los Angeles, to study Cinematography and he graduated in 1965.
