    Jefferson wins the presidential election
    Jefferson had 73 votes on his side and Adam had 65 on his side. Each side thought that Victory from both sides would ruin the nation. Federalist attacked Jefferson as an unchristian delist whos sympathy for the Frech Revolution. The one with the most vote would become president and then second one with the most votes would become vice president.

    Jefferson first Inagural speech
    Jefferson made his Inaugural speech in Washington DC. President John Adams who had runned being presdient for second term left New York without attending the ceremony. Yet people say he ran President badly. The speech was important because it was the most important election ever in the history of the world. The inagural speech was where people would meet up and talk about the election.
  • Lewis and Clark expedition

    Lewis and Clark expedition
    Thomas Jefferson purchased 828,000 square miles of France. they made this trip because president Thomas Jefferson wanted to see what the Nerstern North America was like. Everyone who was on the trip survived but one. Sergeant Charles Floyd died of infection from a ruptured appendix, an illness no doctor in the world would understand for two more decades.America tax payers bought the trip.
  • The Lousiana Purchase

    The Lousiana Purchase
    President Jefferson wanted to buy New Orleans from France. He ended up buying the entire Louisiana Territory from France in 1802. The Louisiana Territory is located in Modern day Central America, west from the Mississippi River. Jefferson doubled the size of the country by purchasing the Louisiana Territory. Jefferson had an idea that every white man should have the right to own his own farm, or property. With the newly acquired land, His dream became possible.

    It was a law passed by the Congress. It was signed by president Thomas Jefferson in 1807. This law atopped all trade between American and any other country or state. The goal was to stop Biritan and France who were fighting to stop restricitng American tribes. The act backfired and the Americans sufferfed it ended in 1809

    President James Madison approved the war agaisnt Great Britian. The war of 1812 was a bigger problem in Canada then the United States. The War of 1812 produced its own Paul Revere, except this folk hero warned the British that the Americans were coming. after being torched , Washington D.C was nearly abandoded as the National Captial. The biggest American victory came after the peace treaty.
  • Indian Removal Act

    Indian Removal Act
    Andrew Jackson passed the Indian Removal Act. The pass of the Indian Removal Actgave the Federal Government to relocate any Native American into the east to territory and move west of the Mississppi River. The Indians felt horrified and sad because they had to leave there country and some of their belongings behind. They traveled for months and 4,000 men died and only some made it. They had to walk alot and they were getting hungry and tired so they had to split up travel.
