My life Begins
I was born in Maricopa,Arizona to two teenage parents. My mom and dad decided to have me a bit young because my Nana was very sick and wasn't going to live long. I would never have thought I would have the very eventful life. -
Mom Meets Dad
My mom and biological dad had long broken up because he was a cheating, drug addict that finally went to jail for stealing. My mom was a lot happier without him and it was just us for a couple of years. But when I was 5, my mom met my soon to be step-dad at a swap meet. They are soon going to celebrate their 11th anniversary and I'm happy for them. -
Nana's Death
I was very close with my Nana from the times I was born until the day she died. I have so many memories of her and I making tortilla's and having so much fun. She would watch every day when my mom went to work and was like a second mother. She had diabetes and was sick for a long time and when she died it hit me hard. But, she is in a better place now and I'm ok with it now. -
Annaleeys's Birth
My sister, Annaleesye, was born when I was 7 and it was a big change for me because I had never had a sibling before. I didn't like her much in the beginning because I was just a very jealous kid and wanted all of my mom's attention. But, she is now my best friend and even though we fight a lot I still love her. -
Tia Onieda's Death
My Tia was the kindest, most generous, and amazing person I have ever met and she chose to put others before her. She had a lot of impact on me because I only live a minute from her and would go every day to see my older cousin. It was very hard for my family and I and it took a lot of recovery and time to deal with it, but I'm glad I met her. -
Grand Canyon Trip
In the fifth grade, my class and I had to sell candies to save enough for all four classrooms to go to the Grand Canyon. My dad ended up paying for most of my candies because my sister secretly ate most of them. When we had enough money, all four classes went on a bus at 5 a.m. and spent 4 hours going to the grand canyon. I learned a lot on that trip and loved seeing all of the fossils. -
Disneyland
As a combined birthday present for my sister and I, my parents took us to Disneyland.As an 11-year-old I was so excited to go to the world's greatest place. It was really fun, my favorite ride was the Tower of Terror, which is like a skydiver ride that drops super fast! I vividly remember the fruit breakfast I had, it was so delicious. -
My Baptism
For all of my life, I had always wanted to get baptized because I felt I would be closer to God and whole. I waited for 1 and a half years to do this because I had to study different religious topics and take a test on the subjects. When I finally got baptized I was so happy and felt better with myself and it was definitely worth the wait! -
Getting Communion
After waiting for 2 yeas of tests and studying I finally had myFirst Holy Communion and have the Holy Spirit. It was really fun because some of my closest family members came and celebrated the special occasion. After the Mass, we went out for dinner and just had an overall amazing time. -
Chanel's Birth
I have never really had a younger cousin that I see almost every day until last year. One of my closest tia had a baby girl and she has affected my life a lot. I take care of her every Friday's and it has taught m the value of having to deal with the bad side of kid's. I have gotten really mature taking care of her.
