  • Ray Charles

    Ray Charles was born in Albany Georgia. At the age of 7 he watched his brother drown and soon became blind. At the age of 10 he started playing piano. His first hit was in 1954 with Atlantic Records. He was famous Because he was one of the founders of soul and was the only blind musician of his time.
  • The Beatles

    The Beatles formed in 1962 and consisted of John Lennon , Paul McCartney , George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Rooted in skiffle and 1950s rock and roll, the group later worked in many genres ranging from pop ballads to psychedelic rock, often incorporating classical and other elements in innovative ways. The nature of their enormous popularity, which first emerged as "Beatlemania", transformed as their songwriting grew in sophistication.

    Black Sabbath helped define the genre heavy metal with releases such as ,quadruple-platinum album, Paranoid. They have sold over 15 million records in the United States alone and more than 100 million records worldwide. Black Sabbath were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, and were included among Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

They are one of the longest lived hip hop acts worldwide and continue to enjoy commercial and critical success in 2011, nearly 25 years after the release of their debut album.

    Eminem is an American rapper, record producer, songwriter and actor. Eminem's popularity brought his group project, D12, to mainstream recognition. As well as being a member of D12, Eminem is also one half of the Detroit hip hop duo Bad Meets Evil, with Royce da 5'9". Eminem is one of the best-selling artists in the world and is the best selling artist of the 2000's. Eminem won Grammy Awards for both Relapse and Recovery, giving him a total of 13 Grammys in his career.
  • Drake

    Drake is recording artist and actor. In June 2009, Drake signed a recording contract with Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment. In November 2009, Lil Wayne said that Drake's first studio album had been completed. The album was released on June 15, 2010 and has since gone platinum. He will release his second studio album on November 15, 2011. Drake has also won several awards, including two Juno Awards in 2010 for Best New Artist, and Rap Recording of the year.
