Born in Chicago Illinois. We lived in a third floor walk up while my Dad finished up his Business degree at Northwestern University.

In 1986 I married and a few years later, in 1990 our willful and creative daughter Sonya was born. In 1993, our quite and brilliant son Spencer was born.

While I raised the kids, I worked as a restaurant manager. Before the management job, in the 80's, I worked as a an accountant

As the kids were pursuing their college interests, I began to scope out schools for myself. At one point, all three of us were in school at the same time!

I also love to camp...I took a trip on my own and it was one of the best experiences. So relaxing...
