I was born in the sixties, the decade of peace and love, when humans arrived to te Moon and the Beatles were in vogue.
-
School, high school, university
-
After finishing my studies at the university I went to France for a year to teach Spanish in one primary school and two high schools.
-
After coming back from France and thinking that the teaching career was not made for me (or I was not made for being a teacher) I went to Brussels to work in the European institutions, at the European Parlialement. I spent 12 years there.
-
My daughter was born in 2003. She is now 16, the perfect age (except if you are the mother).
-
In 2004 I came back to Spain. We settled down in the Sierra de Guadarrama to start a new life.
-
During this period, I tried to recycle my self and back to the working world. I worked in social projects, with immigrants and elderly people.
-
I decided to try to become a teacher again, but with a different kind of students. Not children or teenagers in a compulsory program, obliged to study even without interest or motivation. This time, my students learn Spanish because they want to and they are from all over the world.
