Chris stayed with Wayne Westerberg for several week here, working for him. When Wayne was arrested Chris left to continue his journey. -

While he was walking up the highway, Ronald Fritz gave him a ride to his house in Palm Springs, where Chris decided to pause his journey to Alaska and hang around with Franz. -

Chris's final stop before heading into the Alaskan wild. Stocked up on supplies, and hitched a ride with wood workers to the start of the stampede trail. -

Before departing to Alaska , Chris decided to stop at Carthage for the final time, where he met up with Wayne again. was introduced to Gail Borah, who became close friends with him. -

After being dropped of by Jim Gallien, Chris began his two-month journey in the Alaskan bush. Following a 22 mile trail, he reached an abandoned bus, making it his base camp. -
