    The Camp David Accords was a peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. The official agreement was signed on March 26, 1979 by Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian president Anwar Sadat. Anwar was viewed as a traitor by the rest of the Arab World for striking Peace with the enemy.
