Terrorists hijack four planes and crash them into the WTC, the Pentagon, and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. This event impacted my life because I'm reminded every time I get on a plane of what can go wrong like how it did on 9/11. Obviously security is a lot better now, but I still have the thought every time I step on board. Even when I go and visit the John Hancock Building and see the planes flying at the same level as me, I get freaked out. I'm used to high security in the US now.

This event changed my life because it was the first time that I actually had to start completey over and make new friends. I was introduced to change, which wasn't something I liked from the start. However, I gradually learned to love my new situation and I wouldn't change a thing. It's made me a better person overall. -
