    Building railroads
I decide to leave a little early because the Homestead Act was coming up. So I decide to work on the railroads so my son and I can get a free passage to the Homestead Act. Working on the railroads is hard. I kept day dreaming about how my wife died in that house fire it was my entire fault I could have protected her. She is watching over our son and me now. We finally arrive at the trail and one of my co-workers handed me 40 dollars and told me to use it wisely, my son and I started to walk.

    The homestead act.
I was a little off about the Homestead Act. It really didn't matter because it gave me a chance to scout the land some more. I found the perfect spot that no knew where it was. I took my son the next I went and scouted. He loved the location and knew it would be great for farming. I got a horse and name speedy, it was the fastest horse they had. When it was finally time to go I didn’t take my son with me on the Homestead Act. Oh no someone was headed in the same direction I was. I beat him there.

My son has really grown up over the past years he got his father’s good looks. The house is almost finished only a couple more things to do. This has been a wonderful experience for me and my son. After the house is finished I have to start on my farm.

House is a built and farm is done
I have finally finished building my house and my farm is making a bunch of crops. This has been wonderful for my son because he has grown-up to be a responsible young adult. My son is now 16 years old and I am 40 years old. I think my son will take good care of the farm and house when I die and have a bunch of adventures of my own. But when I die I want it to be in the middle of the farm. When I came to America I was 29 years old and my son was 5 years old.
