On May 5, 1895 I left from Mexico to America. I left because I needed a new life, I needed profit, and i wanted to start a farm.
-
Had to travel over mountains on horse back.
-
After arriving in America, I bought land with the little money i had and started a farm in California.
-
Not having the farm for a year yet, my farm and home was was burned down and raided, I was left with nothing.
-
Left jobless and homeless, I was forced to move to the city if I was going to survive, I needed a job and a home.
-
Finally reaching the city of Sanfrancisco in California, I moved into an small, run down, old apartment.
-
Running low on my earnings from my money I had earned from my farm, I had to begin looking for a job, so I started to learn English
-
Finally after learning enough English to get by, I got a job as a Grocery Store Employee.
-
Trying to help a family friend immigrate to America from China, the Chinese Exclusion Act denied him from coming over.
-
In the rest of my life, I married my beautiful wife Marrie, and had two wonderful children Jacob and Brian. We moved to a big house after becoming the store manager at the grocery store. In 1919 I died from natural causes at age 44.
