Windischgrätz launched a large-scale campaign against Hungary and General Perczel Mór was defeated at Mór. -
Hungarians were defeated. Francis Joseph issued the octroyed constitution of Olmütz in March which made Hungary a hereditary Habsburg province. -
Between 2nd April and 21st May in 1849. It consisted of many important battles.

By the end of the spring the whole country was liberated. -
Kossuth issued this document and it declared the independence of Hungary. Habsburgs were dethroned.
