I think this picture best represents Classical times because they were really into sculpture and molding. In this time they obviously didn't have any technology, so sculpting was the closest they could come to what felt like real life. -
I think that this piece of art best represents the Medieval time because 1, this is a creation of Jesus and they were very religious. In fact, religion was the most important thing in their lives. But 2, art in this time didn't exactly look very real. (the people were not portioned very well) -
I chose this piece of art to represent the Renaissance because 1, it's the Mona Lisa! Who wouldn't! But 2, the Mona Lisa is a piece of art that made the renaissance time "famous." Personally, the Renaissance was my favorite time period to study. -
I chose this piece of art because 1, we studied it in class and I loved it! But 2, this piece of art represents the age of progression and learning new things. I believe that the Enlightenment was the start of that! The start of new things -
I chose this piece of art in class because not only is it beautiful, but we studied it in class! I think this piece of art represents times past of good fortune and happiness. But as you can see there are vines growing everywhere, and the bridge looks ready to collapse. Those beautiful times are past. -
I chose this painting because it is strangely beautiful, and I have always loved it. It also represents the victorian era to a T. She looks as if she were searching for something that she has lost, and she will never find again. -
We are coming up on my favorite times! I chose this piece of art "the scream" because it was painted coming right up on the Modern times. (in 1893) It was donated to a museum in 1910, right at the beginning of the Modern Era! -
We are coming up on THESE times. We were very creative when we created these last three time period names:) I chose this piece of art because it is right smack in the middle of the modern, and post modern times. -
See what I mean? Very creative with these names. I chose this piece of art because I think it best represents these (very) modern times. I think it's actually quite comical how (how do I phrase this?) uncreative we have become? Although I believe 100% that all of these pieces I have chosen ARE art, I think that we can be more creative than we are being.
