Gandalf and a large company of dwarves arrive at Bilbo's home and recruits him for an adventure to gain treasure. -
While trying to pickpocket a troll, Bilbo is caught and a small skirmish ensues to rescue him. Food is also acquired along with enchanted weapons. -
After a month of long trekking they reach an enchanted valley that is ruled by a kind Elvish leader named Elrond. After looking at their map Elrond finds moon letters which detail how to enter The Lonely Mountain. -
While taking shelter from a giant's snowball fight (boulders) they are captured by goblins. Gandalf kills the Great Goblin and they escape but accidentally leave Bilbo behind. -
After being separated from his company Bilbo runs into Gollum and the classic riddle game starts, during which Bilbo acquires the One Ring and escapes Gollum and the goblins. -
After Bilbo escapes from the goblins he finds the company again and they are about to start off again when they become surrounded by giant wolves and goblins. They climb trees and are eventually rescued by eagles. -
After running low on food Gandalf leads the company to a skin-changer named Beorn who fuels them up after they tell him the stories of their adventure. -
After parting ways with Gandalf they get lost after running out of food and chasing wood elfs and their feasts. After being stunned by magic they are captured by spiders but escape with the One Ring. -
After escaping the spiders they are immediately captured by the wood elves and detained, except Bilbo because of the power of the One Ring. They escape later by hiding in barrels. -
After a quick stop in Lake-Town they head up The Lonely Mountain and finally meet Smaug. They find his weak spot and share the news with a thrush who can speak. -
After the captain of the guard in Lake-Town (Bard) learns of Smaug's weakness he kills Smaug. This is after a particularly low dive when Smaug attacked Lake-Town in anger at them leading the Company to him. -
After learning of Smaug's death, the Company takes in all the riches and begin to rebuild the fortress to protect from the wood elves and Lake people who are allied together.

Bargaining between the Lake people and the Company begin after Lake-Town is destroyed as a result of the Company angering Smaug. Tensions rise and each side gathers troops to fight. -
After a sudden attack by a massive goblin and warg army, the remaining factions band together and fight back. After killing many they the allies begin to lose until the eagles and Beorn return which is when the tables turn. -
After a just over a year of adventures Bilbo returns home in June where he lives out the rest of his days visiting and talking with his old Company.
