    On April 20, 1889 Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau Am Inn, Austria. His father, Alois worked as an officer in the customs department. He mother was Klara and he had five siblings, three of which who died during infancy. This event is important as Hitler would go on to become one of the most famous people in world history, though not for a good reason. Little did anybody know, but this baby would go on to kill over six million people in the future.

    New Zealand Becomes First Country To Grant Women's Right To Vote
    On September 17, 1893 New Zealand became the first country in the world to give women the right to vote. On this date, New Zealand's governor, Lord Glasgow, passed an act that gave all women the right to vote. This event is extremely important in the history of the world as it made New Zealand the first country to ever give all women the right to vote. This law set a precedent that other countries would all follow at some point in the future.

    On December 17, 1903 the Wright brothers made the first successful airplane ride in the world. This plane was piloted by Orville Wright and flown at 10:30 AM in North Carolina. The flight would only last about ten seconds, but this day would still be forever remembered. This event is important in the history of the world as it was the first successful plane ride ever. Planes have since been commercialized and used by millions across the globe daily.

    Ford Model T Introduced
    On October 1, 1908 the first Ford Model T automobile was introduced. This was the first car ever to be mass produced at a cost that was cheap enough for many people to afford. Unlike previous cars, the Ford Model T cost $925 which is much cheaper than previous cars. This event is important as it changed the automobile industry and the way people got from one place to another. Transportation was forever changed following this day.

    Titanic Sinks
    On April 15, 1912 the Titanic sunk. This occurred around 2 a.m. in the Atlantic Ocean. This vessel was thought of as unsinkable, but struck an iceberg and immediately was flooded with water. This deadly event would result in the death of well over 1,000 people and would change the history of the world forever. This event would cause sea travel to change forever. These changes include the ice patrol and a required number of lifeboats on every ship.

    Hitler Named Leader Of Nazi Party
    On July 29, 1921, Adolf Hitler became the leader of the Nazi Party. This party, formally known as the National Socialist German Workers' Party, was founded a few years prior. Hitler became the leader due to his amazing public speaking ability. Hitler had briefly resigned from the group before coming back under the title of Führer, or leader. This is an important event as it was a major step toward Hitler's eventual power, making him one step closer to taking over Germany.

    Hitler Found Guilty Of Treason
    On April 1, 1924 Hitler was found guilty of treason. He was sentenced to five years in prison following the Beer Hall Putsch. This event was when Hitler attempted to take control of Germany, but the plan failed terribly. He was sent to Landsberg prison, where he would remain until December 20, 1924 when he was pardoned. While in prison, Hitler received special treatment from the guards. This is an important event in his life as it was his first attempt to obtain power in Germany.

    On January 27, 1926 John Baird gave the first ever public demonstration of a television. This Scottish inventor held his demonstration in London, calling his product the televisor. This invention changed the electronics industry drastically after being invented.

    On June 18, 1928 Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean as a passenger, riding on a Fokker tri-motor aircraft. It took off on June 17 from Newfoundland and landed about 15 hours later in Wales, over 2000 miles from where they took off.This event is important in the history of the world as she changed the public's view of women forever. This event made people around the globe realize that women can do just what men can do.

Hitler would go on to destroy his own country in war and kill millions of innocent people on the way.

This specific event is important as it is the start to a long list of laws that Hitler makes that hurts Jewish people. This law is what kickstarts the destruction of all Jewish people in Germany.

    Germany Invades Poland
    On September 1, 1939 Germany invaded Poland. Known as Fall Weiss, or Case White in English, this attack was planned by the Germans. Over one million German soldiers invaded Poland and after over a year of fighting, he was able to take control of all of Poland. This event is important as it is what started World War Two. Germany's invasion of Poland causes Britain and France to declare war on Germany. After that World War Two was officially under way.

    On December 11, 1941 Hitler declared war on the United States. This declaration came shortly after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. Hitler declared war, thinking that it was only a matter of time before the United States declared war on Germany. Hitler also hated the President of the US at the time, Theodore Roosevelt. This event was important as this is what truly started America's feud with Germany and led to many battles between the two countries.

Hitler issued this knowing that Germany odds at winning the war were very bleak and that defeat was imminent. This was done in order to keep the Allies from obtaining any German infrastructure. This event is important as it is the first time that Hitler publicly shows that Germany's defeat is inevitable. This event is when Hitler gives up and accepts defeat.

    Hitler Commits Suicide
    On April 30, 1945 Hitler committed suicide in an underground bunker in Berlin by shooting himself in the head with a pistol. This occurred just two days after he had married Eva Braun, who killed herself at the same time as Hitler. Hitler killed his dog as well, just before taking his own life. This event is important as it led to Germany surrendering. This event ended the fighting for Germany in WW2 and the country was finally free from fighting.
