    Andrew Jackson (Native American Removal)
    Andrew Jackson the president at the time exchanged land with the Native Americans. He moved them to land west of the Mississippi River. Some of the tribes got to stay but most of them were forced to lave and if they didn't they were removed in other ways. More than 4,000 Cherokees died on the trail which is known as the Trail of Tears. This is a picture of Andrew Jackson when he was president.

    There are two types of Mormons. One of the types is their religion and believing in only having one wife. The other type is believing in the religion but also having multiple wives that live all together and in no mans land. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.     The Alamo was where the Texan's war took place because they wanted independence from the Mexicans. The leaders that led the Texan's were George Collinsworth and Benjamin Milam and they flooded Garrison at the Alamo and took the Fort, and took control over San Antonio. The Mexican's over powered the Texan's by thousands. The Alamos commanders were James Bowie, William Travis and Davy Crockett.     Trail of Tears
    In 1830's the removal of the Native Americans started by the government. The tribes that were in the removal were the Cherokee, Muscogee, Seminole, Chickasaw, and Choctaw nations from their homes in the southeast. They were forced to walk thousand of miles to cross the Mississippi River. More than 125,000 Native Americans walked on this trail. When any of them got sick the just left them on the trail to die.     When Joseph Smith was 14 he wanted to learn all the religions to figure out which one he wanted to join. He went to the woods one morning and sat on the ground and god game to him and said not to join any churches and to wait for me to show you what religion to join. In 1830 he became the first president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joseph married Emma Hale and 33 other wives. Smith was murdered because of his beliefs.     In the 1840's the Americans mission was to expand their civilization and live a crossed North America. With the Americans moving out it is forcing the Native Americans out of their homes. With this happening it helped the Western settlement get rid of the Native Americans and the Mexican War that was about to happen.     The Donner Party was 90 Americans that left Springfield, Illinois and started to head west to California on foot and by wagons. On their way they had some problems with the weather and had delays. The got stuck by snowfall in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.     The Mexican War was the first U.S. conflicted on foreign soil. The Mexicans were unprepared against the U.S.President James K. Polk believed the United states was part of the Manifest Destiny to try and spread across the world to the Pacific Ocean.     In the early 1848 there was gold nuggets found in Sacramento Valley which was what started the Gold Rush. The Gold Rush was one of the most important events to change America during the begging of the 19th century.
