    Webster’s dictionary was made by Noah Webster. The publishing of webster's dictionary is important because, now the United States had words that were their own, also now people could be more educated with their writing and speaking. The first edition of webster's dictionary was published 1828.

    In the election of 1828 Andrew Jackson won presidency after the voting rules changed. Showed americans could elect their own people the the white house. not restricted to vote if you had land or if you did not have land. The only restrictions were you had to be a male, and you could not be a slave.
