    the war was fought between the french and american colonists. the french won the war. thw winning side won land. this was a cause of the american revolution because the british went into debt after the war and wanted to raise taxes to help pay for their debt.

    the charter of 1732 created a group of trustees that would govern the colony from england.king george ii granted it to james oglethorpe.the 3 official purposes of the finding of ga was charity, economics,and defense. the 2 things they prohbited was no slavery and no alcohol.the 3 groups that were banned from coming to ga were african americans, catholics, and lawyers.it put 21 trustees in charge of georgia. it put restrictions on the trustees that they coudnt own land and couldnt hold public off

    the first city founded in ga was savannah.james oglethorpe founded that citywith his colonists.the ship him and his group was on to arrive was ship anne.tomochichi was the indian chief to let them on their land.for james oglethorpe to communicate with tomochichi they had mary musgrove translate for them.

    the spanish led james olgethorpe and colonists to this battle. him and his colonists fought the spanish because they were trying to invade georgia. it was a succesful victory for the english colonists. rangers, british regulars, southeastern indians, and local citizens helped james oglethrope with the victory. this battle was imporant because it showed olgethorpes leadership and it was the last spanish offensive into georgia.
