Epson Equity II computer

First computer in my house which ran DOS all I remember from it is typing letters and printing them on an old dot matrix printer.

1997

Mac Computers

In elementary and middle school we used these mac computers. these were the model before the original iMacs were released

1999

First Windows PC at home

First Windows PC at home which ran windows 95 initially and then windows 98. I also had experience in windows 3.1 when in middle shool.

2000

Dialup internet at home

we got AOL dialup internet at home in 2000

2001

First laptop

I purchased my first laptop in 2004 which was an ibook about a year later I purchased a 12" Powerbook. Over the next two decades I have also had multiple Mackbook Pro and Macbook Air laptops. I currently use a Macbook Air M1 laptop.

2006

First Online Class

I took my first online class in 2006 and we used the ANGEL LMS for our learning system.

2006

first smart phone

I got my first smart phone in 2006 and it was a windows mobile phone in 2010 I switched to android and still use android today.

Period: 2009 to 2023

LMS Systems

I started with ANGEL and then Seminole State College switched to Sakai for 5-6 years and lastly have been using Canvas for the last 10+ years.

2015

First tablet

I got my first Tablet in 2015 which was an iPad but I didn't use it much as I still preferred a laptop today I have an iPad Pro and use it every day much more than my laptop. I even use the iPad for school work now as the apps have come a long way.
