Radio gave families joy and news on what was happening, multiple people could use the radio so the ones with no money could group up with people who have it to enjoy for a bit. -

Well following the TV outbreak in the 1930s radio stayed active by having music. this is the main thing nowadays and this was what kept people interested in radio. from jukeboxes, to radio, to etc. -
Radio progression
Radio kept a profit by creating fm radios and am radios, forcing people to buy new radio sets which meant more income, and more happy people since the signal, quality, and times were better.
