The strike didnt affect me but it did affect some of my family members and family friends. This was a local event but I thought that it was crazy how the teachers didnt come to school because of pay causing a bunch of student to roam around chicago and not get taught ciriculum.

Sandy Hook was an awful tragedy that killed so many little kids. I feel that this event was a national tragedy that deserved to be on my timeline to show that no one will forget what happened.
