A event before the British came was when aboriginal people were at Australia these people called Macassans would trade with them. macassans lived in Indonesia they sailed to Australia to collect sea cucumbers. They gave aboriginal people knives, cloth and rice. The knives and weapons that macassans gave the aboriginal when the British came they used some of those weapons to attack the British so they could defend themselves -

Back in britian the jails were always over populated because people would commit crimes and sometimes some of them would get sent to USA and put them in their jails but USA was getting way to much people in there prisons from british so USA decided not to take british people anymore and put them in their prisions because it was getting USA's Prisions to populated. -

Arrival to Australia
On 18th of January 1788 Governor Phillip and his small party of marines and seamen had arrived to Australia in botany bay. They found out that botany bay was unsuitable for them it was to unsafe and there was lack of fresh water. They moved up North and relocated to Port jackson. On January the 20th 1788 the british found a unnamed location it believed to be the beachfront of Camp Cove known as cadi to the local Cadigal people. -

When british came and built buildings and prisons and after that happend there was a disease spreading around it was called Small pox mainly Aboriginal people would get it. It could kill people it was that bad sometimes aboriginal people would spread it and kill some british. -
Spearing Of Governor Phillip
In September the 7th 1790 Governor phillip had got speared by one of the aboriginals the death of Governor Phillip was in sydney cove New south wales. The spear that killed Governor phillip had a name the name of the spear was called Payback spear. The spear was supposed to go straight through their shoulder so they would die straight away.
