    A event before the British came was when aboriginal people were at Australia these people called Macassans would trade with them. macassans lived in Indonesia they sailed to Australia to collect sea cucumbers. They gave aboriginal people knives, cloth and rice. The knives and weapons that macassans gave the aboriginal when the British came they used some of those weapons to attack the British so they could defend themselves
