Peter is a regular kid in high school. He lives a normal life with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben.

Peter visits a science center and is bitten by a genetically modified spider. His body undergoes supernatural changes and he feels pressured to become a part of this new 'special world' due to his new spider-like abilities.

His spidey senses help him make the transition to the special world (supernatural aid) and his Uncle Ben assists him also in other ways such as giving him life advice.

Uncle Ben dies and Peter fully joins the 'special world.' He dedicates himself to finding his uncle's killer as well as catching criminals and doing good to society. (Crossing the Threshold)

Peter tracks down criminals and makes a spider suit so his identity won't be revealed. He also tries to befriend Dr. Connors in the doctor's quest to find a way to regrow limbs through genetic mutation.

Peter goes to Gwen Stacey's father and insists that Dr. Connor is the lizard running rampid through the city. Captain Stacey ridicules him. (Atonement of the Father)

Peter is shot and surrounded by the police force and forced to give up a part of himself and reveal his identity to Captain Stacey. (Spiritual Death)

Captain Stacey lets him go and gives Peter the opportunity to save Gwen from the Lizard. (Boon: Gwen)

Peter saves Gwen and tries to stop Dr. Connors from polluting the city with a posionous gas.

Peter is trapped with the Lizard when Captain Stacey comes to his rescue and helps him defeat the Lizard. (Help from Without)

The Lizard is dead but so is Captain Stacey- Peter is a changed person. (Crossing the Return Threshold)

Peter is still a highschooler but hasn't given up on being Spiderman. (Master of Both Worlds)

Peter dates Gwen and continues mourning his uncle, settling back into normal life.
