Hemet Unified Begins Solar Panels Project
Installation year started in 2011. Hemet Unified continues to help reduce electricity because of installing solar panel in 17 of its school site. These panels will act as shade covers in both parking lots and play areas. Hemet Unified solar panels will have the capacity to generate a total of 4.372 MW of electricity over the course of the 20-years. Renewable energy source will offset an estimated 1,586 tons of carbon emissions, which is equivalent to 3.4 million vehicle miles not traveled. -
