    Brian Seamons and the football team of Sky View High School
    Brian Seamons was assaulted by 5 of his upper-class football teammates in the locker room. He reported the incident to a school administrator and other authorities; including the football coach and principal. The school district repsonded by canceling the final game of the season. The coach accused Brain of betraying the team by bringing unwanted attetnion. The court affirmed in part and reversed in part and remanded the courts's decision in favor of the school district.

    Meeker vs Coach Edmundsom of the high school wrestling team
    James Robert Meeker, a freshman at Rosewood High School, North Carolina was beat at least 25 times during the months of November through January. The Coach would encourage the abuse of meeker by the other member of wrestling team, so that it would toughen him up and stop his crying. In August 2003, Meekers parents filed a lawsuit against the coach, principal, and superintendent. The Court affirmed the summary judgement and ruled in Meekers Favor.

    The Wrestling coach was charged with 4 counts of hazing. There was a party that was put on by the wrestling booster club. Most of the wrestlers attended and so did the parents of some of them. During the party, 3 of the wrestlers slapped or struck other wrestlers to initiate them into the team. The court dismissed the case, because the party was not sponsored by the high school, it was not mandatory, and many of the parents attended. The coach did not have a duty under these circumstances.

    On August 2008, on behalf of their son E.J. the parents sued the USA Water polo team that their son participated in . In Salt Lake City, the team participated in sexually assaulting E.J. as part of the team initiation. They blind folded him with a towel and placed a trash can over his head, and continued the initiation. The court ruled in favor of the appellants, and ordered that the parents take nothing and not compensated.

    In November, a number of 7th grade boys had made their middle school basketball team. During the season the 7th grade boys were picked on by the older 8th grade boys. The 8th grade boys pulled a number of "pranks" on the 7th grade boys. One prank went to far with a boy named John Doe, that the mother finally ended having to up sue the school. The defandanst motion for summary judgement granted in part and denied in part, because the plaintiffs did present credible evidence.

    Valencia High School Football Seniors
    An underclassmen was attacked by 3 senior teammates after practice in the locker room. They threw him down and physically and secually battered him. The rest of the team watched and encouraged the attack. The boy ended up having to transfer to different school in the spring, in fear of being assulted again. The parents of the one who was attacked filed charges against the school district but motion was denied becasue of a waiver of immunitiy of NM.
