    A document that declared our independence from England. This affected America greatly as it marked our seperation from England and the beginning or our country's independece.

    The constitution was signed creating America's current government system. ( with some adjustments ) This affected America as it was our first great government.
  • Indian removal act

    Indian removal act
    The indian removal act was signed May 28, 1830. It was the forced removal of the cherokee indians from their homeland. President Andrew Jackson recieved approval to negotiate with indian tribes and get them to move west in exchange for their homeland. After they turned him down, they were removed by force.

    The california gold rush began on January 24, 1848. When a carpenter found gold in a river in California news spread fast and soon gold was found all over California. Northerners and Southerners and people from all over the world left their homes and embarked on a journey to become rich.

    The Emancipation Proclamation was a document issued by the sixteenth president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. This document delcared that all slaves held in rebel states were free. This document is what abolished slavery throughout the U.S once and for all.

    Sixteenth president of the United States Abraham Lincoln was assassinated April 15, 1865. He was attacked by John Wilkes Booth in Ford's Theater. He was shot in the head and soon after he was shot doctors worked together to try and save him. Unfortunately, the next morning Abe passed away.

    The Battle of the Little Big Horn was a battle between the combined forces of the Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho indian tribes against the 7th calvary of the U.S army. The tribes came out on top and the calvary suffered a great defeat.
  • Wounded Knee Massacre

    Wounded Knee Massacre
    The Wounded Knee Massacre took place on the Lakota Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota on December 29, 1890. The U.S 7th calvary regiment went into the reserve to disarm the Lakota (indian residents of the reserve), a shot was fired due to lack of cooperation and things escalted quickly. In the end, this resluted in the death of over 200 men, women, and children.

    Stock market crashes when investors trade 16 million dollar shares in a single day causing the great depression. This made money almost completely worthless throughout the United States making life very difficult.

    The apollo 11 spacecraft landed on the moon. 6 hours later Neil Armstong and Buzz Aldrin took their first step on the moon. This was a huge win for the U.S and paved the way for futher space exploration.

    I was born October 29th 2000 in Coatesville PA. My mom and dad are seperated so I have two seperate families. On my dad's side there is my step mom Deb, my little brother Tyler, my little sister Carleigh, and my little step brother Alex. On my mom's side there is my oldest sister Adrienne,my older sister Melissa, and my step dad Lance. I live with my mom, step dad, grandma, our cat Ladybug and our 2 dogs Marla and Jacky. I am currently interested in being a couch potato and eating snack foods.
