The Mona Lisa, was painted by leanardo divinci in the renaisance time period. The renaissance was all about knowlegde. Seperating themselves away from the church and focusing on things that would iluminate their minds, such as art, sculpting, enginering, and science. This shows a great leap from only painting about religion, to just painting normal human beings. -

This painting is done by my most favorite artist, Johannes vermeer. Also known for "the girl with the pearl earing" painting. He painted this peice by using oil paint, This was painted during the Baroque period, because it shows motion, drama, and tension. -
