    Mona Lisa

    Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa, was painted by leanardo divinci in the renaisance time period. The renaissance was all about knowlegde. Seperating themselves away from the church and focusing on things that would iluminate their minds, such as art, sculpting, enginering, and science. This shows a great leap from only painting about religion, to just painting normal human beings.

  • The Night Mare

    The Night Mare
"The Night Mare" by Henry Fuseli, is one of the most intersesting peices of the romanticism time period. Like all the other paintings in the 17th and 18th century, this was painted by oil paint. This painting is described as a woman and what she is thinking in her dreams, like the incubus and the horse peaking throught the curtains. Romatiscism is not a "romantic movment" if thats what u think, it has to do with art, litreature, and inelectualism Romanticismis more of a fantasy fiction world.

Such as creating unrealistic creatures out of objects in real life. This is a Painting of a Train coming in from the fir place, unusual but brilliant, thats how i see the the Surrealism era.
