  • Summer Intern Apps.

    Hand out '16 Summer Internship Applications to 1st and 2nd period students.

  • Meeting w/ Carol Burns, Hospital and SFUSD People

    Lunch with Carol Burns and other funders. Work Permit to be signed by Carol Burns and handed out to selected interns the week of 14th in March.

  • Resume Building with Rita

    Rita's resume building workshop during 1st and 2nd periods

  • TENT. Professionalism Professor from Hayward State

    Tentative date set for time being Professor from Hayward State to speak to kids about professionalism

  • Intern Application, Resume Due Date

    Resume's due for whole class. Additionally, the Summer Intern Applications are due this day by 3.30PM.

  • TENT. Hayward State Professionalism

  • Due: Intern's Letter of Recs

    Internship Application's Letter of Recommendations will be due by 1PM.

  • Mock Interviews

    Mock Interviews to be held for all students. Students from 1st period will be during Feb. 29th, while 2nd period will be during Mar. 1st.

  • Announcment of New Interns Chosen

    Interns will be decided and notified. **Over weekend of March 12-13th and Monday the 14th, students will decide if they will accept the opportunity.

  • Formal Acceptance by Students.

    Students formally accept the internship opportunity. We begin handing out applications for work permit, parent consent forms, and health screenings to those accepting the internship.
    (MUST ALL BE COMPLETED BEFORE JUNE 3RD LATEST).

  • Paperwork for Students (Mar. 16-June 6th)

    Students working on completing all paper work as well as screenings.

  • Ask CPMC on Placements

    Ask which Wednesday or Thursday they would like to do the placement interviews.

  • DUE DATE ON ALL ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK!

    Tentative finish date
    Needs to be completed by June 5th. However the sooner we make the deadline, the better so we do not risk students failing to finish before the first day of Internship on June 6th. Wrk Permit, Vacinate, Parent

  • First day of Internship AND ***Orientation***

    First day of six week Internship.
    Find out which campus the Orientation is at. STUDENTS MUST ATTEND

  • Optional: Intern Check in this Week

    Week prior, have students sign up and notify their department that someone might be coming to check in.
    Have students sign up for check ins. Richard or Andy will be visiting the interns to check on how they're doing.

  • Last day of Internship

  • Intern Graduation

    Jul. 18th-22nd: Intern Graduation date will be sometime this week. Students may continue as volunteers
