The Imperial Proclamation
The Frankfurt Assembly Revised the previous proclamation and requested The Freidrich Wilhelm would become king. This stated all of the things that would occur if he accepted his position. -
MY OPINION
In my opinion, i believe that the most decicive event that led to German unification would be the War of 1866. This granted Germany what it had been fighting for all along. They never wanted to be ruled by Austria and after the war all the power went to Prussia where they wanted it to be.
