    They live in areas for long periods of time. They have expeienced some farming and living in tribes and villages. They have more advanced pottery and discovered the bow and arrow. They eat deer, fox, and they eat rabbits. They have tried doing squash sunflowers and other things. They have some trade between groups. They begin religous thimking and buring people in mounds.

    These people are nomadic.They arrived using the Bering Striaght land bridge.They use spear heads that are called a clovis point. They use the clovis point cause it is rounded and eaiser to take out of the animals they kill. They hunt large game animals like the mammoth the ground sloth the saber tooth tiger and others. They have no form of farming. They also have no organized trade or religon.

    They follow thier food source and they migrate from season to season. They use caves rocks and pit houses to establish thier shelter. They use a simple form of pottery. They have the most advanced religon and they also have importance of their ancestors.

Hernando Desoto wanted alot of things but he never got it for ex. he wanted gold money to be rich and other things but never got the thibgs he ever wanted.

    The charter of 1732 was signed by King George 2nd.After he signed it Georgia became a Trustee colony. The charter layed out the laws of Georgia. Trustee means that it was governed by a group of trustees. The charter of 1732 was good for Georgia back then but today i am not so sure.

    John Reynolds was the first royal governor. When he turned 18 he served in the British Navy. He made up a court system for the Georgia royal colony. When he did he made alot of people mad at him cause they could not have alchol. So the king replaced him with Henry Ellis.

    james Wright was the third and final royal govenor. The people of georgia liked as the govenor alot. He expanded Henry Ellis's polocies. He also tried moving the capital from savvanah but it did not go to well. He was the govenor for22 years. He governed through the American Revolution.

    he served as mayor from 1962 to 1970. Ivan Allen Jr. was an only child as he grew up. He graduated from a local all boys high school. He married Louise Richardson. Allen entered the service in 1942 as a Lieutenant. After the war Ivan Allen Jr. served as govenor. he only served as a govenor because his father retired.
  • Leo Frank Case

    It was a case that involved Leo Frank and Jim Conley and also a black Janitor and his name was Newt Lee. This case happened because some one out of the three killed Mary Phagan. Mary Phagan was about 14 years old when she was killed. Mary Phagan was killed after she picked up her pay check. They found her body in the basement of the international pencil factory.The case was a very big case and a lot of people were there trying to figure out who had killed Mary Phagan.

    Herman Talmadge served as a govenor just like his father Eugene Talmadge. He was elected to the U.S. Senate until his defeat in 1980. He married a women in 1937 and her name was Katherine Williamson. Three years later they were divorced. Then in 1941 he married a women and her name was Betty Shingler. A couple of years later Talmadge joined the navy and seen extensive combat.

After 61 yeras of being with Virginia Cox she died . Which means she died in 1997. Leste also worked in wartime industries. Lester was born in Atlanta but he grew up there for alittle while in his child hood.

    This system made little regards to the population differences. The County Unit system was mostly used in democratic primaries. It was used for state wide office as well. This system also chose U.S. house districts. In 1962 in March the U.S. supreme court declared the system invalid.

    Martin Luther King was a civil rights activist and also was a minister. He was also known for heading the SCLC.He won the novel peace prize in 1964. He played a pivotal role ending legal segregation. He alsospoke a famous speech called I Have A Dream Speech.

    Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected in this time period. When he took office he took footsteps to fulfill his promise. The CCC was a new deal program that Frankln D. Roosevelt. The CCC alsobuilt most of the facilities at the State park known as the Roosevelt State park.

    Information on Andrew YoungAndrew grew up with his mom being a school teacher. But Andrew Young was a dentist. Andrew Young accepted responsibility at a young age. In 1951 Young graduated from Howard University.

The title of this act was changed after the Congressional consideration of the bill. This law only paid for retirement benefits. In 1939 thre was a change in the law and then it added survivers benenfits.

Holmes scholastic records and athletic accomplishments helped him out. On the other hand he also knew Charlayne Hunters. Most of her child hood her and her family moved around very frequently. She spent most of her childhood in Atlanta or Covington.

    During this time the american and japanese relationship got a whole lot worse. In 1941 Roosevelt siezed all Japanese products in the United states. Roosevelt also cut off the oil supply that they desperatly needed

    He was aknowlegded for his leadership back then. In 1948 he hired 8 african american police officers. He also helped lead the city in the civil rghts area. In 1958 he asked all Atlantans if they all wanted to keep integrated schools oopen.

    In 1945 the allied troops pushed into Poland, Austria, Germany. The Holocaust was the name given to the systematic extermanation of 6 million Jews. Mostof the prisoners and children wre gassed to death in big chambers.
