Miranda was arrested for raping a woman but she could not identify him in a line up and then the cops lied saying she Identified him and he then confessed but he did not know his rights , he took his case to the Supreme Court and he won, now cops must read you your rights before your are arrested. Equality is shown here because now everyone has equal rights -
Tinker V Des Moines
Some children silently protested at school by wearing black armbands for ending the Vietnam war. The kids were suspended but they brought it to court saying that they have the right to freedom of speech they won and now the first amendment is applied to the school children. This uses equality because now every one has equal rights.
