All grades from 3rd to 6th are now one to one devices. All teachers are invited to attend professional development and are encouraged to collaborate with teachers from their site that pilot the rollout the previous year.

Teachers are expected to use one to one devices as part of their curriculum and embed technology accross all subjects. Full implementation depends on each teachers comfort level with technology. Each site is responsible for monitoring of implementation.

Imperial Beach Charter School provides professional development for teachers in grade 3rd-6th. Professional development is focused on google drive and appts that will support collaboration for teachers and students.

TK-2nd grade teachers are invited to attend professional development around the use of devices in their classrooms. Each TK-2nd grade teacher that attends professional development will receive 8 devices for their classroom.

All classrooms in our district have personal devices in their classrooms. Students are expected to have access to devices and to use devices to support all subject matters. Students work collaboratively with their devices to create and research.
