  • Thomas Jefferson

    Thomas Jefferson
    In the year 1801 Thomas Jefferson was elected as the third president of the United States. Thomas Jefferson was the creator of the Declaration of Independence. In 1797 he became the vice president of the United States.
  • The Louisiana Purchase

    The Louisiana Purchase
    It made the U.S.A doubled its size. Livingston and Monroe reached the message to Washington and made it official. But it didn't cover all of the United States that we have today.
  • James Madison

    James Madison
    In 1809 James Madison became the fourth president of the United States. He helped create the bill of rights which we still use today. He also signed the declaration of war against great Britain.
  • The War of 1812

    The War of 1812
    The reason why it started is because the British restricted the U.S. to trade so they went to war. While fighting the war the British and the Canadian burned down the White House in Washington D.C. The Americans responded to this by attacking New York, Baltimore, and New Orleans. Nobody really won but the group who did lose was the natives.
  • James Monroe

    James Monroe
    In 1817 James Monroe became the fifth president of the United States. He bought the Louisiana Purchase which is a huge thing because the United States of America got doubled. He was the last president to be a Founding Father.
  • The Monroe Doctrine

    It was basically for the European nations to not interfere with the western hemisphere. They were afraid that Europe was getting too much independence. Technically it was John Quincy Adams idea but since James Monroe was in office he got the credit.
  • John Quincy Adams

    In 1825 John Quincy Adams became the sixth president of the United States. He was considered one of the best United States Secretaries of State. He also agreed to negotiate the Florida Purchase Treaty with Spain.
  • Jacksonian Democracy

    It was basically about white men having power. From this the south was getting more black people. Also they were getting more slave owners. The slave owners were all white so they had power against the slave. There was no specific date for month and day. But it didn't let me put in 0 so I just put in 1's.
  • Andrew Jackson

    In 1829 Andrew Jackson became the seventh president of the United States. He paided off national debt which is the only time it has happened. He also made a new currency currently used, as called a 20 dollar bill with his face on it.
  • Mexican War

    This war was about the Mexicans and the Americans fighting over Texas. The Mexicans had Rio Grande. But the Americans crossed Rio Grande and people got killed and injured.
