These to these things are important because one the Lewis and Clark made it so that we could by the Louisiana Territory. The purchase of Louisiana was good because it gave us new land to crop and other things. -
This purchase would help a lot because we would get new land like the Rocky Mountains and other things. It would also help with farm ground it would give more farm ground. It also made so that we could expand farther west. -
Lewis and Clark explored the Louisiana territory. They also learned things from natives such as learning how to live with nature and how to make better food. They met Sacawagea on the trip through Louisiana. -
James Madison was the president that signed war against the British in 1812. James Madison prohibited trade with Great Britain and the French. James Madison was also the Secretary of State for Thomas Jefferson. -
The war was against the Canadians, Americans and the British. It helped the Americans by giving them hope for there navy they won three huge battle against the British. Helped the Canadians by helping be free from the British. The British burnt down the White house wich was the best the British did. -
James Monroe was president from 1817 - 1825 he served eight years. When he was president Missouri wanted to be a state and the people didn't know if they wanted to be a slave state or a free state. So then they made the Missouri compromise bill. -
John Quincy Adams served as president from 1825 - 1829. When he got elected Andrew Jackson thought there was a crime because when John Quincy Adams won the house of reps. Had to vote and Henry Clay was the leader and told them all to vote for John Quincy Adams. -
Andrew Jackson was partiality voted for president because he was a hero at New Orleans. John Calhoun was telling South Carolina about a nullification. Then Andrew Jackson said he would lead an army to South Carolina and hang John from the first tree he saw. -
The trail of tears happen because Andrew Jackson wanted to move the natives west. The supreme court said it was unconstitutional so he wouldn't then he just sent an army there and marched them there. Then most of the of the natives died on the 1 of 4 died. -
Harriet Tubman was slave that escaped slavery and went up north to be free. Then once she got to the north she went back down and freed more slaves from the south. Then after that she helped in the act of no more slaves in the act.
