    Henry parks made a speech in the town of tenterfeild about federation to unite the colonies as a single country. This act didn't work.

  • Alfred Deakon

    Alfed Deakon thought that the contentent should be a united country. He got the colonies together and voted for repensenitives to draw up a new consititution. New Zeland decided to stay out of it, and Western Australia wasn't to keen but soon joined a year later

  • National Aus Convention

    First sesion of the national Australia convention is held in Adelaide to work towards a federal consititution. All colonies, apart from New Zeland chose to attend this act.

  • Meeting in melbourne

    The premiers' of all six colonies meet in Melbourne to discuss changes to the consititution.

  • Queen victoria

    Queen Victoria Makes a royal agreement to the act that Alfred Deakon made.

  • Edmund Barton

    The commonwealth of Australia is proclaimed the first primeminister Edmund Barton and parliment were sworn in.
