I was only 5 months old when I had my first airplane ride. We went to the Philippines.

On September 11, 2011 terrorists hijacked planes which 2 of them hit the World Trade Center in New York. Such impact caused the building to catch fire and collapse. Many people died.

While there were terrorists hijacking the planes, there were also terrorists bombing the Pentagon.

My little brother Joseph was born. I was so excited to be an older sister.

Hurricane Katrina hit.

After living in the same town for years, we decided to move to Sacramento. I was excited to move and live and a bigger house.

Barack Obama was elected president and this is an important day in history, because he was the first African American president.

Every year, somebody hosts our huge family Christmas party. This year, it was my family's turn. It was the first time we hosted. We had tons of food, gifts, and relatives. A lot of cars were parked on our street and my house was packed with people. It's one of my memorable memories because I had the chance to see so many relatives of mine.

Information on the Haiti Earthquake
A very devastating earthquake. Many people died and endless buldings and homes were ruined causing people to be homeless. -
An explosion causing the oil spill at an oil company causing much pollution into the water and endangering marine life.

My family flew to the Philippines for a family reunion. I got the chance to spend time with relatives who didn't live in the United States. Some cousins even came from Hong Kong!

Japan had an earthquake which was in the ocean, and this triggered a tsunami.

Hurricane hit many states and left damage in its tracks.

One of the first trips we made during our summer vacation was going to Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. We also saw the Grand Canyon.

One of our lasts trips before going back to school was heading down to Lake Tahoe. While we were there we rented a jet ski. It was a lot of fun and the views we saw were beautiful.

The summer olympis in London started today and ended Sunday, August 12th.

Space shuttle Endeavour's final touchdown
The NASA Space Shuttle was retiring and heading to the museum and flew over my school. Everybody ran outside to have a look at this once in a lifetime oppurtunity. This was the one time that my school allowed us to take out our phones and take pictures. -
