    The first rules of football were announced. players were able to handle the ball. you was allowed to slide people but no hacking.

  • The league begins

    The frist league began. there was 12 teams all challenegint ow in it. this was the first main event that made football develop becuase they was finally competing for something.

  • Englands first game

    England played their first ever national game. this developed football becuase the players knew they had something to play for as they would want to be part of the squad.

  • county and district leagues

    county and district leagues began. this developed football becuase it meant their was more teams playing meaning more people could play and then players could be produced.

  • The football league was created

    the "league" changed into the football league. this gave the football league a purpose and made it sound more professional

  • The FA goes abroad

    The FA goes abroad. This meant that leagues in other countries. This meant that more leagues were produced and once again more players could be produced.

  • Tne first wembely final

    The first final at wembely stadium. it involved West ham and Bolton. this devloped football becuase it was at Wembely everyone wanted to know about it meaning they would take an intrest in firther games.

  • 17 new laws

    17 laws were brought into football.one rule that was brought in was that there was 3 officals. this developed football becuase all the game could flow better meaning more pople enjoyed it.

  • Coaches were available

    Coaches became available for top teams in Europe. this developed football becuase it meant better players could be produced.

  • Englands first world cup win

    England won their first ever game in the Worl cup. this was againts Chile. England winning a game int he world cup meantfootball got developed becuase lots of outsiders started watching it and meant they wanted to get incolved.

  • England won the world cup

    England won the world cup. England won the world the world cup in 1966. this developed football becuase everyone got excited and wanted to be incolved.

  • Hillsborough

    in 1989 the hillsborough disaster happened. the ground was so busy that the stadium collapsed, killing 96 supporters. this changed football becuase standing at stadiums was taken out and you could only sit.

  • The pass back rule

    The pass back rule come into play. this meant thyat the goal keeper could not pick the ball up once it was played to him. this developed the game becuase it meant you mainly have to move foward and iot sharder to keep possesion.

  • St Georges Park

    St Georges park was built and finished. St georges park is a massive complex witht the best faciclities in the country. this develped football becuase it makes the players better.
