Experiences With Technology.

  • Engaging with technology such as TV.

    I engaged with technology from a young age as I would watch cartoons on TV.

  • Family Computer.

    I always remeber having a desktop computure in our house where I would play disney games. However, there was no wifi and dial up internet had to be used.

  • Nintendo DS.

    At this time the Nintendo DS was the most advance peice of technology that I had used. I used to think it was amazing that you could speak to your friends through pictso chat.

  • First Mobile Phone.

    I got my first mobile on my birthday, a Nokia was the best mobile to get back then and I remember taking it out to show all of my friends. Its funny to think back on how excited I was that I could text and make phone calls.

  • Created email account.

  • First Laptop.

    After using the family computer to play my games, my parents decided to get me my own laptop for Christmas.

  • Wireless Internet.

    Wireless internet was a massive change in technology. I loved when we got wireless internet as it meant that I could use my laptop anywhere in the house and was not restricted to one particular area.

  • Facebook.

    I was never really interested in social media, however as I was starting high school in august I believed it would be a good idea to get Facebook in order to interact with my friends. This was my first experience using technology to engage with others through the use of the internet.

  • High School.

    After beginning high school I began to use technology alot more in many different classes and began to explore different ways in which you can use technology eg in ICT we would create power point presentations, spreadsheets and other types of similar items.I also began to use the internet more to do research for various topics.

  • First Smart Phone.

    My first smart phone was a Blackberry Curve. After having an LG cookie for years this phone was way advanced technology than I had been used to, I quickly began to learn how easy it was to surf the web on your phone, use BBM, connect to facebook which meant I could use my mobile for everyday life.

  • Opened a bank account.

  • Apple Iphone.

    I got my first Iphone (4S) for my brithday, this was the most advance mobile I had had and was entrigued with all of the features.

  • Created Instagram Account.

    Instagram became very popular and I got an account to post photos and follow my friends.

  • University.

    I now use technology in many new ways, from uploading work onto pegausus to interacting with other students on twitter. I continue to learn about technology everyday.

  • Iphone 6S.

    The Apple Iphone continues to become more advance.
