Events of historical significance in the life of Kathryn Whitfield

  • Birth

    I was born the first daughter of David and Judy Whitfield at Etobicoke General Hospital at 7:58p.m. A healthy baby with dark brown hair.

  • Birth of my sister Emma Claire Whitfield

    Emma is my only sister and we are 21 months apart. She is an inspiration to me. When she was little and I didn't know a lot of words I called her "Matt" because she was smaller than me, just like my little friend Matt at the time.

  • First days of school

    I began school at age 4 at Runnymede Public School. I spent the next 10 years here. I eventually joined the French Immersion stream. I was very involved in music, theatre and student council and student leadership activities here.

  • Graduation from Humberside Collegiate Institute

    I graduated in June 1997. I won 4 awards and a scholarship to university.
