    Wilhelm II became the king of Germany and helped to start the alliance between France and Russia that led to the Triple Entente.

    The rivalary between Russian and Japanease over Manchuria and Korea ended the quest of taking over the Far East and Japan was now trying to take over Europe after Russia lost the war.

    The British allied with France and then became the Entente Cordiale but allied with Russia also who had already allied with France and became the Triple Entente.

    The Tangler and Agadire Crises were meant to cause tensions between France and Britian, but they actually strengthened the Entente Cordiale.

    Austria-Hungary decided to annex Bosnia and Herzegovian but Serbia apposed this and did not win but the Relationship between Russia and Serbia was harmed.

    The Balkan league formed by Serbia, Greece, Montenegro, and Bulgaria was able to take over the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. This success of the Balkan league alarmed the European Powers which wanted to prevent this strengthening of Serbia.
  • Assasination of Archduke Franz Ferinand of Austria

    Members of a group called "Young Bosnia" assassianated the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne which eventually led to the beginning of World War I. Austria-Hungary used this event as an excuse to attack Serbia.

    Austria-Hungary gave an Ultimatum to Serbia to try and get them to come under the control of Austria-Hungary.
