Entering Adolescence
The year of 2006 was beginning of my adolescence, which I was about 10 years old. I believed that my culture caused me to became an adolescence little early because in black cultures, we are taught to be independence and educate us, especially girls about the sexuality in such early age to protect us from boys. We also started having abstract thinking at about same age. After my puberty at about 12 years old, I started experiencing the conflicts in friendships and sexuality such as liking boys. -
Emerging Adulthood
2013 was when I emerged into adulthood because the responsibilities came my way such as applied for colleges, pay bills, prepare fr graduation, etc. The same year I stopped depending on my parents. My egocentrism and idealism faded and my perspective of many things changed since I started found more identities about myself.
