Year 1600 Queen Elizabeth started the East India Company to develop trade between Britain and India. They spoke English when they traded things but some words could mean one thin in Britain but meant a diffrent thing in Indian english and because of that a special dictionary called Hobson Jobson was made. 1788 the "First Fleet" of 11 ships with 780 English people came to Australia, most of the people on the ships was criminals that had been sent to Austalia as a punishment. The early settlers in Australia tended to lose their regional British accents.
