My only sibling was born when I was 21 months old. This meant I always had someone to play (or fight) with. I think being a "big sister" taught me to share and nurture.

We left all of my dad's family in California and followed my mom's family to Arizona. My parents thought California was too dangerous. My mom's family ended up moving/dying so it ended up being just our family in AZ.

I had quite a few relatives die when I was relatively young which taught me about death as well as how to deal with grief.

Graduating high school was a major milestone for me because it meant I wasn't going to have the same support system of friends and teachers that had known me for so many years
