    In 1988 I was a freshman in highschool. We had a typing class and I was introduced to using the word processor. I would write many papers with this new technology.

    In 1996 I was introduced to the internet and dial up. My first exposure to the internet was through aol and getting to explore what it was all about. I also got my first email address at that time.

    Instead of just online classes, full online degree programs start being offered. This allows for people to earn their bachelors, masters and graduate degrees without having to step foot on a campus. This happens all over US
