To add on Drake's album debuted #1 on the Billboard top 100. Drake's first album helped launch his career and soon after when on his way to perform, riots ensued and he was forced to cancel his performences due to fear of safety

    Drake at this point in time has become subject of a major bidding war between numerous records. After signing with Lil Wayne's yung money album, he soon after begins working on his debut studio album. In a rare video he is seen talking about the album at that time. He says that he is very thankful to "y'all" and "200,000, 300,000 first week I dont know maybe? ... to ya'll man" (Nate Banklighter "Rare 2008 Drake Video where he Talks About "Thank Me Later" before it was released").

    Due to the large comercial succes of Thank Me Later, Drake quickly went back into the studio to record the album that would be later known as Take Care. Drake along with his producers hurridly put this album out with Drake even going back and saying that he rushed that album and didnt devote enough time to it. While waiting for the full album, Drake released songs which he said would be a part of the album such as Marvin's Room, Headlines and Make me proud.

    Due to the comercial success of these 3 songs, Drake soon after released Take Care on Novemeber 15, 2011. This album has been rated his best album by numerous credible hiphop websites and has gone Platnium. He later said about the album that he himself rushed it saying "I didn't get to take the time that I wanted to on that record. I rushed a lot of the songs and sonically I didn't get to sit with the record and say, 'I should change this verse'. Once it was done, it was done."(Digitalspy Drake)

    WIth Marvins Room being a big hit, a singer named Ericka Lee sued Drake for use of her voice on the song Marvins Room. She had alleged that her and Drake had been dating and that he had promised her credential and royalties and alleged that Drake said"U basiclly made that song" (Rolling Stone). She had also claimed that her and Drake had dated for a time. Drake had denied all these allegations claiming them false. The two settled a out of court legal settlement, thereby ending the problem.

    Drake then dropped his next track named Back to Back a reference to the Toronto Blue Jays beating the Phillidelphia Phillies to win back to back World Seris titles. Back to Back was a huge success and reached the Billboard top 100 when released. Drake responded to numerous claims Meek Mill had made at him and fired shots back saying "Is that a world tour or your girls tour" (a ference to Mill's girlfriend Nicki Minaj) and "The point I'm tryin' to make is I don't ever need 'em" (Genius Lyrics)

    While working on his 4th album VIEWS, Drake had come under fire from a rapper whom he made a song with. The rapper named Meek Mill claimed that Drake had used a ghostwriter for a song named R.I.C.O.. Drake claimed that these allegations were false and on July 31, 2015, officially dropped his first diss track on Meek Mill named Charged Up. While no major success was recorded for this song, it was the first of 2 diss tracks Drake would drop on Meek Mill.

    Drake songs both reached the Billboard top 100 and met with huge success among fans and rappers. Meek Mill later released Wanna Know as a response to Drake but the song never met the success of Drake's Songs. He later deleted the song of all music platforms.

    Throughout the years the young money label created three big rappers known as Nicki Minaj, Lil wayne and Drake all of whom had become close friends. However after the Meek Mill beef Nicki and Drake had not been as close and Lil Wayne soon disappeared from their friendship. However on February 4th it was revealed that the three had reunited and squashed any hard feelings between them as seen in the picture. Numerous fan and people were happy at this symbolizing the love for eachother.
