After the October Revolution there were elections where the Social Revolutionary Party 410 out of 808 thus receiving a majority. In January of the next year the 808 seats were to meet but Lenin and Red Guard decided to overthrow the government.

War Communism is implemented in Russia by the Bolshevik government. The government would essentially control the economy by nationalising the industries. The state would also provide public and social services such as education. It did not improve the economy and stopped in 1921

Following the Kronstadt Revolt, revolt from sailors, soldiers and civilians in Kronstadt, the NEP was implemented. The government would take a fixed amount of grain from the peasants and the surplus, the peasants can eat or sell. It gave incentives to peasants to grow more grain. Bonuses were introduced, and coal, oil and electricity, iron and steel industries were put under state control.

Stalin appointed as General Secretary of the Bolsheviks and this role gave him power to appoint and promote anyone he wanted. He filled positions with his supporters and removed supporters of others

Victor Emmanuel III tried to get Salandra to negotiate with Fascists to form a new government but Fascists refused. Eventually VE III asked Mussolini to become the Prime Minister of Italy following the March on Rome.
