My family would take turns using our desktop computer. We had a few games on cds that we liked to play.

Monitors started getting thinner and computers weren't as bulky. I also started using USBs to save things.

I got my first social media account in high school. You would have to log onto your computer to check your account.

I got my first laptop when I went to college. It was so heavy to carry around in my backpack that I would usually just leave it back at my dorm!

I used my dell monitor a lot for work but wanted a smaller laptop to use at home or on the go so I bought the chromebook I have now. I like that it is small and also had a touchscreen.
  • Social Media becomes the norm

    Social Media becomes the norm
Social media has grown and the different sites have expanded what people can do and post on them. I have had accounts on a lot of platforms at least for a time (pinterest, tumblr, youtube, twitter) Now there are things like instagram reels, tik tok, and zoom that are used a lot. I also never log onto social media on my computer but just use the app on my phone.
