Charles Babbage created the first working computer in 1822

Binary codes were first used.

A binary code represents text or computer processor instructions using the binary number system's two binary digits, 0 and 1. The binary code was used for the firts time in 1932.

1st laptop

A "personal, portable information manipulator" was imagined by Alan Kay at Xerox PARC in 1972 as the “Dynabook”.

Microsoft was created.

Bill Gates found with Paul Allen Microsoft in 1975.

Apple was created

Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne on April 1, 1976, to develop and sell personal computers.

E-books were released.

The first idea of an electronic book came from Bob Brown after watching his first “talkie” (movie with sound) in 1930 but, what we know today as an e-book, was created in the late 1990’s.

The first smartphone was developed by IBM and BellSouth, which came out to public in 1993.

USB flash drives went out on sale.
