Alan Shugart invented the first 8" "Floppy Disk" at IBM. This is important becasue floppy disks led to the invention of magnetic and optical storage.

Bill Moggridge introduced the laptop with a built in screen, keyboard, and trackpad. This is important becuase all laptops were based off this computer.

MITS invented the first Desktop Personal Computer. This is important because it gave you access to computers in your own home.

Apple inc. is founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. This is important becasue Apple inc. started inventing cutting edge products.
